How Can We Help?

For individuals with disabilities, their families and the organizations that provide assistance, Didlake is a trusted resource that can open doors to a life rich with opportunities. Contact us today to discuss your situation.Photo of Didlake employees.

Didlake creates opportunities for people with disabilities through services that connect them to employment, education and the community. Our programs include therapeutic services, vocational and life skills training and rehabilitative programs. Each individual is assessed using a highly individualized process that focuses on personal preferences and abilities, to discover the "best fit" for that person.

We work closely with public and private agencies to assist clients and their families in identifying the resources available to assist them. Our first rate services, attention to individual needs and a caring, professional staff have earned us a reputation as an industry leader to whom government and community organizations can refer clients with confidence. When matching individuals to employment opportunities our careful screening, job training and continuing support maximizes the chance for a successful outcome. Our programs include:

CIP is a licensed day-support service with the goal of integrating people with severe disabilities into the community. Participants are offered options such as art and music therapy, vocational training, community outings and part-time employment according to their interests and abilities. The CIP operates at several locations in order to serve participants in the communities where they live.

Employment Programs

Sheltered Employment - Participants with severe disabilities are employed by Didlake to operate our mailing, recycling, assembly and packaging operations. Training and support helps to develop increased skills and enhance independence.

Group-Supported Employment - Through this program, people with disabilities are employed by Didlake to work alongside non-disabled employees in community businesses and industries. Didlake provides ongoing supervision, training, advocacy and support.

Individual Supported and Competitive Employment - Participants in these programs use Didlake's assistance to match them to competitive jobs with local employers. These individuals are employees of the organization where they are placed. Didlake provides skills assessment, job coaching services and maintains regular contact with the individual's family, employer and co-workers to ensure success.
